After a marathon match late last night against amateurs, Ill By Nature, The Nsanez were pitted against The Last Resistance this morning in Winners Bracket Round 2. TLR were given host for the first game of the match, War Machine, but it proved to be an insignificant factor. Both teams had similar strategies for the map, in which they each sent one player to the Troika, one to the Longshot, and two to the center. The map was a stalemate for most of its entirety, but in the end, The Nsanez walked away with a 4-3 victory.

For game two, Gridlock, Nsanez brought two different strategies to the table. In one, the team rushed three players to the Longshot, while sending only one to the Boomshot. For the other, they pushed two players to both the Boomshot and Longshot. Once again, Zkiller was the team’s primary sniper, ending up with seven downs and seven kills with the map's conclusion. Gridlock ended in The Nsanez' favor by a score of 4-2.

Things started to look up for TLR, as they did not let the previous two games affect their mentality going into Canals. Zkiller was expected to take over the Longshot, but instead, it was controlled by Predator. Both teams battled for control of the center bridge, meanwhile trying their hardest to flank one another from any possible angle. With Venom’s impression showing on the Longshot, TLR were able to pick up a win on Canals by a score of 4-2.

 The final map, Clocktower, shattered the momentum TLR had just gained on Canals. Both teams pushed all four players to the top level with every round. After three rounds in Nsanez' favor, TLR had no kills on their opponents. The Nsanez put on a dominating show for the spectators, holding back the multiple rushes attempted by TLR and ultimately winning both the game and match by a score of 3-1.
