- Players may not create or manage more than one Team, from the same household, on the same Tournament.
- Players are limited to one GUID and PB ID, per Tournament.
- Teams should be checked, before the start of a Match, to verify all Players’ eligibility. If a Player is found to be ineligible, a Ticket should be submitted immediately and a Staff member should be contacted. If a Staff member isn’t immediately available, the Match should be played in its entirety. If an ineligible Player is used, the Match will result in a Forfeit, when the Ticket is processed.
- Use of an incorrect GUID and PB ID will result in a Forfeit of the Match.

- Teams must have 5 Players on the roster for the tournament. Teams with fewer than 5 Players, at that time, will be not be eligible for the tournament.

- Boosting is illegal. Also, using a grenade to boost a player ("nade jumping") or shooting a player while jumping to gain height is prohibited.
- Manipulation of server configurations, client configurations, models, skins, weapons, sounds, or anything that alters the predetermined settings is illegal. Also the use of aimbots, wall hacks, or third party programs that alter how the game is played are illegal. Admins have the final ruling on what is or is not illegal.
- Repeated proning and unproning to shoot and not be injured (also known as “Vertical Glitch”) is illegal.
- Breaking any of the above rules will result in a Forfeit loss. Matches must be completed for a dispute to take place, disputes involving the above rules cannot take place while then match is in progress.
- All matches are to be played with PunkBuster enabled.
- All servers must be
running the DAMN:MW. This can be downloaded at http://www.gotfrag.com/portal/files/1141/
All Matches
- A Game consists of two 12 round halves played on one map. When one team wins 13 the match is over and they are declared the winner. If a team leaves the server before 13 rounds are played then that team forefits the match.
- If the teams are tied at the end of regulation play (two twelve round halves), then the teams will play overtime. Overtime consists of two three round halves, with the teams remaining on the same side as their last regulation (12 round) half.
- Teams will knife for sides.
- If by 15 minutes past the scheduled Match time, a Team doesn’t have enough Players to play the Games, the incomplete Team Forfeits the Match.
- Teams must have 4 members present in order to start a Round/Game.
- Teams may delay the Match between Rounds/Games for up to five minutes. Teams can request that a Referee enforce this five minute time limit. After five minutes, if the delaying Team’s full Roster isn’t present, they must play the next Round/Game shorthanded or Forfeit the Match.
- If the Hosting Team wrongly ends a match, their Team will Forfeit the entire game.
- Players are not only required to use their PB id’s and GUID’s that they have listed on their team’s roster page but their in-game name as well.
- Players are required to record demos of all matches and are required to save them until the phase of the tournament is over.
- Demos are to be handed over to GotFrag or Tournament staff when asked.
- Substitutions are allowed at half time only, unless a player is joining to replace a lagged out player.
- Teams will start on
the same side which the match began for overtime (players switch sides before
starting).
- Players are required to take screenshots of the opposing team standing behind a
smoke grenade and are required to save them until the phase of the tournament
is over.
- Demos and Screenshots are to be handed over to GotFrag or Tournament staff when
asked.
- All matches must be completed 24 hours before the next scheduled round. If matches are rescheduled beyond this point, both teams forfeit their right to dispute the match for any reason.
Tournament Bracket Matches
- The Bracket will be a Best of 3 Game Match, Double Elimination Bracket.
- Once one Team wins 2 Games, the Match is over.
- After losing a Match, Teams will fall into the Losers Bracket.
- A Match loss in the Losers Bracket will result in elimination from the Tournament Bracket.
- The higher seeded
Team must choose one map to play and one map to remove. Then, the lower
seeded Team must choose the second map to play, followed by a map to
remove. The higher seeded Team then picks the third map from the
remaining two maps.
- The Tournament Bracket will run on a Tuesday/Thursday schedule. Matches with a Tuesday Default Match Time must be played by 8 AM ET on Thursday. Matches with a Thursday Default Match Time must be played by 9 AM ET on Tuesday.
- The Default Match Time will be 8 PM ET.
- Matches can be rescheduled. In order for the Match to be officially rescheduled, both Teams must submit a Ticket requesting the same rescheduled Match time.
- If a proposed rescheduling of the Match time has not been agreed upon, the Match is required to be played at the scheduled Match time.
- If a Match isn’t played, and neither Team submits a Ticket requesting the Forfeit win, the Match win will be awarded to the higher Seeded Team.
Server
- Teams may use their own dedicated server as long as it falls within the ping rules, has the DAMN:MW Mod, and has punk buster enabled.
- The average pings of both teams to the Hosting team's server must be no more than 50ms (the average is displayed when tab is pressed). If the average ping is greater than 50ms the other team may refuse to play there and find another server on which to play. This is done to keep the matches as fair as possible. Pings must be confirmed in game and if the difference is less than 30ms the server is acceptable. If a suitable server cannot be found an admin must be contacted to select a server.
- The ping rule only
applies to players participating from North America. European players can
request an East Coast server to make things as fair as possible.
- Server disputes must be resolved before the match starts. Disputes regarding server choice will not be heard after the match is played.
- GotFrag and Gamebattles are not responsible for players who have connection problems. Teams should have their back-up player ready in case a player gets disconnected or lags out.
- If a Player loses their connection to the server when the match starts (first round), the match must be restarted.
- If a Player loses their connection to the server, the match must continue. They may be replaced by a back-up player but the substituting team may never have more than 5 players in the server at any time.
- If the server crashes during the first round, the match will be restarted at 0-0. If the server crashes after the 1st round has completed, the server will be restarted and play will resume with the score at the time of the server crash.

- To report the Match results, Teams must report the Match Score (2-0 or 2-1) and the individual map scores.

- In order to dispute Match results, Tickets must be submitted within 3 hours of the scheduled Match time.
- If a Screenshot(s) is needed in order to resolve a dispute, it should be transferred to the user’s computer and uploaded to a free image-hosting site such as the GB Game Room. The URL for the image(s) should be attached to the dispute Ticket(s).
- For all cheating claims, the burden of proof is on the accuser.
- Any form of cheating or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in a Forfeit of a Game, Match, or ban from GameBattles.
