Summer Spotlight
It's safe to say that starting with the launch of the GameBattles 2009 Summer Season, summer is now officially in full swing! Nice weather, hot girls, no school, and ice cream are now a part of everyone's lives, at least for a few months. So what's missing, you ask? SPORTS! Football is still months away. Basketball is still months away. Hockey just ended, and is still a couple months away from starting again; and of course, with the majority if students done with college for the summer, no college sports either. So what's left? Well, baseball and soccer, both of which are great sports with great fans, but face it -- we can't come up with too many baseball and soccer comparisons before the audience is snoring out loud. Because of this lapse in time in which absolutely nothing is happening, we've decided to spotlight the top players from some of our less popular arenas. Many of them are just as dedicated to their favorite games as Baron is to Gears of War 2, or Eternity is to Call of Duty 4 (see above), but are not given proper recognition. So without further delay, here is your summer spotlight:
