Attention all Xbox competitors: As reported by Major Nelson, Xbox LIVE will be undergoing scheduled maintenance beginning on Monday, September 29th at 12:01 a.m. PST. (Pacific Time) The maintenance will affect all aspects of the Xbox LIVE service, and is expected to take up to 24 hours before the service is fully restored. As you know, the downtime will come very close to the closing of the GameBattles Summer Season, which will officially come to an end at 11:59 p.m. ET on September 30th.

For those of you competing in GameBattles’ many Xbox-based arenas, it is advisable that you get your matches in before the scheduled maintenance goes into effect. It is even more important for those of you who are on the fringe of playoff qualification to secure your spot before the downtime occurs. There will be very little time to compete in the Summer Season once the service is restored, so get your matches in while you can!
