Restart your modem and router, do your neighbors feed off your internet? if so you need to put a password on your router/modem so they cannot access it and tie up your bandwidth. you can also try clearing the cache on your xbox to do that Go to My Xbox then System settings then click memory, Press Y on the Hard drive symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a message will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices? click yes

I've done that thing where I unplug my router and all those boxes for a few min and plug them back in. The internet goes back to normal for awhile then gets weird again shortly after.
I'll try that cheatcode-like thing you said, dunno what it does but I'll go for it
edit: did the cheatcode thing and clicked yes, it took less than 2 seconds for it to be done, so I'm not sure what that means
my teammates are afraid to play with me and won't until I tell them I 100% won't drop

My neighbors can't connect to my wireless because I have a wireless MAC filter where you need to put in your MAC address from my main computer to allow your device access to my internet, as well as a password
if tons of neighbors are on their own internet at the same time, will that slow down my internet? or does that have nothing to do with it?
thanks for the replies, it looks like Comcast is a popular ISP in my area, would that be a bad thing? maybe I should switch to a less used ISP or something
