Would You Go Lan ?

basically im here to ask if any teams that are still playing gears of war 1 would come to a lan event.

Whats a Lan Event ?
a lan event is a place where you go and compete gainst other gamers for a cash fund or prize of some sort. The Games are played over system link which means no lag ;)
you get to meet all your team and alot of players from other communities as well.

i went to my first lan event on saturday it was held at newbury racecourse ( a hefty 3 hour journy from yorkshire :/ ) the lan event was called iseries there were a host of different games including guitar hero, Modern Warfare 2 and a hugeee amount of PC games but my knowledge is limited :/
it was great fun my team failed miserably and walked away with 10th out of 14 teams however it was still a great weekend staying up late having a laugh with loads of new people trying to find mcdonalds at 2am then realising there wasnt one :/
