this could be the best game out by far.. but the controls are horrid..

You cant compare this games controls to that of ufc. they had no choice but to use the buttons with ufc due to the fact that they had to be able to punch and kick high low and in the middle of the body the stick doesnt have enough functionality to perform all of these movements, same thing for the other games you mentioned. however the stick control scheme is perfect because your only throwing punches and there are less commands you need to perform allowing them to be able to use the stick layout. the controls are resonsive for me so either you got a broken copy or your just not as good at this game as you would like to be and are butt sore because of it. and i highly doubt they put out broken copies so i think we all know what the case is here.

I didn't think people actually used the buttons on a Fight Night game. The joystick is so much better. You must be pretty bad to mess up with the sticks or to even call them "unresponsive".

Nobody can compare FNR4 to UFC 09.. this is the FIRST UFC game out.. don't hate, give 'em time to make it better.
And controls for FNR4 are hard to get used to at first.. but hey, give it time and you'll be knockin' kids out like crazy.

the analog sticks on controllers arent that great =.. they hurt thumbs when playin for a long period of time.. and sometimes the punch u think u threw isnt what comes out... i prefer the button.. less strain on my fingers and if i want a jab i kno X will always be jab....

Apparently you don't have the same dexterity as some of us. And if you think you threw a certain punch that you didn't, you obviously move the analog stick in the direction you should have. Sure, you finger slips sometimes and you throw the wrong punch, but that's just a part of the challenge.

ANYBODY can be a button masher. Sure, there is some skill required for throwing a certain punch with a button, but it's more difficult with the analog sticks.

This game, since day one, has been made to use the analog sticks. I can't remember which iteration of the game it was, but they called out button mashers and said something along the lines of "button mashers not allowed" or "button mashers WILL get knocked out every time." Suck it up, use the analog sticks or just wait until the DLC comes out with the button punches added in. The end result will be the same, you will get knocked out by a guy using the analog sticks.
