Obviously we know that players can play 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 in versus multiplayer. There are a few things that I would like to discuss about the maps.

For 3v3 GameBattles matches there are only 3 maps to choose from; Exile, Fort Deen, and Frozen Valley. Do you not think that this will get a little repetitive? ( DLC will help us out but at a cost and in the future )

Another question I wanted to ask is, do you think that if teams play 1v1 or 2v2 that they will be able to use up to the 3v3 maps? I would really like this to happen. It would allow for a bigger margin of dominance for the teams who are truly skilled.

Any thoughts on this topic?

Map List:

1 vs 1 Maps ( 5 )

Beasley's Plateau (2v2)
Crevice (2v2)
The Docks (2v2)
Labyrinth (2v2)
Repository (2v2)
Terminal Moraine (2v2)

3 vs 3 Maps ( 3 )

Yeah, it's 1v1.

Yeah, I don't understand on how gamebattles will do with the ladders. Will they make 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, ladders? Or will they combine some ladders. Playing only 3 maps for 3v3 would be a bit repetitive, but least your not playing it over and over by yourself.

They must have changed it a lot :(

Blood Gulch should be 2v2. It was a huge map.

Yeah

I like the way this game works, because even though your playing the same maps over and over, with 2v2 or 3v3 you'll almost never see the same situation or results.

I don't think it really matters with an RTS, because maps don't make a huge impact on strats like other games. Every game is going to be different, regardless of the players or maps.

Agreed. Compared to a FPS, the map really doesn't matter.
