Network Access disk error?

I'm trying to make a second account. I can log on to play online fine, so settings in that respect must be fine.

But, when I put in the network access disk, it eventually comes up with a blue screen, saying my progress is being saved [with a black and blue icon of the number 8 on its side] and then comes up with a box saying " Cental Station cannot be contacted. Please check your settings, and try to connect again."

What settings are these? I can get online so I assumed my settings must be fine. Any ideas?

Are the two lights flashing on the back of the PS2 when you connect?

Yeah they flash untill I reach the blue screen I mentioned above, then its just one light on, the other light off.

mine wont connect as well....when im at a friend it connects just fine. Let's beat someone up
