I rember posting on the 360 forums asking for a ladder (so was enj4y i beleive) and then we got one, people had said o you would only get 10 ranked teams and 200 teams. WELL we have 605 teams now and 23 ranked teams now and i always find a match finder posted so everyone keep playing matches and have a good time. Now all that is next is MLG circut for this lol.

Yeah i was one of those people pushing for a ladder and forums for Left 4 Dead. I am very happy that we have that many teams and almost 25 ranked teams. Lets try to make this last as long as it can.

And for the MLG circuit request, thats a long-long-LONG shot...but we can still hope.

Im not gonna lie, I've considered joining this ladder because I REALLY, REALLY enjoy this game. Since my hours at work recently got cut, looking to something to eat up that free time over the holidays.

However, my main concern comes from dealing with gamebattles(and its members) in the past it seemed that ladder spot meant enough to cheat victories while it wasn't in-game(usually, except for the stand byers) it came from simply claiming the win, you so rightfully earn.

Seems if you want your win, you gotta have a capture device.

On topic, I'd LOVE to see this game (The 360 version most definately) make it to the MLG Pro-Circuit. The game is so damn good and fun, and the teamwork it forces is amazing.

i really do think that L4D should be on the Pro-Circuit eventually, i mean, look at the comparisons...

MLG has Halo 3, Gears of War, Vegas 2, and COD4....

think about it.....

Halo 3 - Team Based, cant wonder off too far without garenteeing being killed, although some ppl can get lucky taking out several ppl at a time though...

GoW - youre screwed completely if you dont play as a team...but again, its a little arcadey like Halo 3 is, so you can get lucky and take out several at a time before dying...

Then theres R6: Vegas2.....solely team based, and set up (in a small sence) like Counter Strike, where if you dont play as a team, youre done for....

and finally, Call of Duty 4...i think that pretty much explains itself...


now, am i the ONLY one who sees a HUGE similarity between the pro-circuit games and Left 4 Dead?

L4D is a tad bit arcade like to keep the interest, but not TOO Arcadey like Halo 3 and GOW, PLUS, you are forced to stay together in order to get anywhere, and teamwork is essential all around, like Vegas 2 and COD4, also, its made by Valve, the geniuses behind the Half Life series and the Counter Strike series (plus the other game i cant think of the title to atm.... sorry to whoever is a fan of it...) which is self explanitory....since CS and CS: Source made it to the CGS (before it was forced to shut down due to the low budget and ratings from DirecTV..) in its first year of existance...and ppl STILL play CS as well...

i know this can be argued with a lot of other games, but if you think about it, L4D has the best argument over the other ones....and i really do think that it has a decent chance of making it to the Pro-Circuit, just the main questions is this though....PC or 360?

No fear about cheating, every team we've played is 100% legit. Also with the capture device that is only in case the other team disputes, which we have been fortunate enough to not have a problem with, LOL MLG Circut, all we need is another 1000 teams and 75 ranked ones and 140 people viewing the forum at the same time, and a harley for christmas, lol keep up the good work though, maybe if the game picks up a larger fan base then we can hope.
