actually conservatives are typicailly closer to or more libertarian than liberals. Various studies and polls have shown if the LP was a big competitive party, republicans would lose alot more than democrats.

lol....the only third party taking votes away is Nadar, and he got kicked off a bunch of ballots. Not that a thrid party will ever win in America but wuts democracy without 3rd parties.
