Bunch of hooligans at the gyms around here.

I started going back to the gym instead of lifting at the house and it amazed me how many people are there just goofing off and not doing any lifting at or exercising at all.

This one clown sat at the shoulder press machine for 15 minutes barely doing a set and nobody could use the machine because of him.

Another goofy dude was doing jumping jacks where I was squatting and the weight almost fell on top of me and knocked me over.

You need to use proper gym behavior when your at your gyms.

I've heard some of the most annoying ridiculous grunts at the gym but I also make soft grunts if I'm deadlifting serious weight, so i'll reserve judegment on that. These wack offs like the guy doing the jumping jacks almost caused me serious injury. I almost knocked him out when he kicked me while I was squatting. he should lose his membership.

I actually just started going to the local gym after becoming bored at the firehouse gym. Its a 24 hour gym with a lot of different area. But there was a ton of people there not really doing anything. I happen to be lucky and go with a friend that knew people there that where more helpful then anything. I do see how it could be annoying if a guy is taking up a machine but if you see he is having trouble with one set, why not go ask if he needs help?

There are all guido's at my gym, and all they do is walk around with their cell phones, while they pump their fists.

Where do you go, I'm in SI too and my gym is terrible for that, bunch of orange I-talians with spiked hair and juice pimples on their shoulders, but there are a lot of nice girls to distract me while i'm trying to workout at least

The worst is people who do not rack their weights once they are done with them.

I also used to attend Lifetime and it was a bunch of guys standing there talking about working out rather than working out. I would come in with either my shaker cup of Xtend or SizeON and would get starred down and get accused of taking steroids, because instead of my water being clear it was red because of the Xtend. The ignorance that is associated with gyms and people who workout is unbelievable at times.

I work at the South Shore YMCA, so I get a free membership there.

Yes there is too much chit chat, and screwing around, taking up the machines that other people are waiting to use. Either use the equiptment or get out of the way and go chit chat in the lobby.

Yeah, I try to not get pissed off at this either. So I bring my iPod and put on some Metal or Hard Rock and then BP it up to get my anger out.

military presses are terrible for your traps and shoulder blades so thats probbaly why you have that injury.

Stop doing rear military presses ASAP.

front shoulder presses are fine.

THE most annoying thing at my gym is the people who sit at the squat rack (their is only one) and do ****ing straight arm curls and ****. There are other tools for that. But i do like the little girlies in their spandex pantsss....lol
