mods please sticky this before it gets out of hand. the reason is there will be a lot of these threads which the people like me don't mind giving advice to. but we never get the right amount of info to give advice and are tired of asking for it. it will make it easier for all of us to follow this guideline.
1. amount of money you want to spend for the PURCHASE of the vehicle
2. what you want to use the car for?
3. domestic or import? or don't care?
4. mechanically inclined?
5. auto or manual?
6. year?
7. want to modify it? if so what are your hp goals? how much money you're willing to throw in it?
8. buying from a dealership or private party?
