I use to play for the North York Jr. Canadian's AAA from M.Bantam to Midget. Now I play Jr.A for the St.Michaels Buzzers (OHL, samething as AHL). When I was Bantam I had the Detroit Honeybaked (best team in the US) ask me to play with them (2/3rds of there team is imports) my dad said no cuz I was to youg to move there by myself.

Nice man, I'm from Randolph and we won states for public schools and almost beat the top ranked team in the east coast for the actual championship. Damn that was fun.

Get your facts straight. First, go to www.ushsho.com, then go to the national rankings. That website ranks the top 1,000 high school teams in the country. Minnesota is renowned for it's power house high school teams, yet the top 2 teams are from Massachusetts. And Mass. Prep School teams > all high school teams. And don't even bring Shattucks into this convo; Deerfield > Shattucks.

Anyways, yes, I play hockey too. I'm a defensemen for Arlington Catholic in Massachusetts. We were ranked top 20 in the US last season. I play juniors in the fall. We lost in the quarterfinals of the Super 8 last season, which is the best high school tournament around.

MSC is one of, if not THE most overrated high school programs out there, right along with Shattucks and Holy Angels.

Southie's bantam and midget teams are awesome, but most of the good Southie kids go to private schools, like CM. That's why Catholic Memorial is so good.

Anyway, I think Southie is division 2 anyways, or maybe 3. That site usually only ranks D-1 teams up high.

i play hockey with dennis leary and his little kid. they live in the next town over from me and we play at the same rink. i saw him in walmart once too and he recognized me after i said i. i felt all warm. him and clinton remember me. johnny mosely might remember me too but i doubt it.

the southie A teams are also up there. a lto of ppl dont liek us cuz we **** up hotel rooms and beat the **** out of ***** teams. Oh man good times. i remember i was in a tounry down in N-Field Conn. i think i was in pee-wee at the time. We were playing N-Field in the finals and mad **** happened. Some1 called a bomb threat. A kid on Enfield kicked my goal in the ribs and he got 2 of them. And the goal got called for a penality. we basically got screwed a lot during the whole game. And we got scrwed a lot of my hockey life.

but i do rememeber u, i think u were on a clan called Metal and a kid named nomar was on that clan. I played him in hockey one year. we were talking about it before the game. He played for the cape cod cancals and i was on Southie and we beat his team 4-1 in the 1st game of the states a few years ago.

playing hockey for southie for like 12 years. yea i played u ****ing townies like 3 times a years. Charlestown rink is ****ing cold as hell. how old are u? i probably played u a billion times. Im 16

my team in Arizona went up to Fargo for one of the biggest tournaments for peewees...won at all...we werent even supposed to play 3 games but we ended up playing 6 cause of our success...they had rankings and **** we were dead last..we showed everyone it was probably the best mooment i have ever had on ice...out of the six game we won 3 or 4 of the games in Overtime....Played 2 teams from Canada...2 teams from Minisota...then LIttleton, Colorado AAA, and Ontario Senetors AAA...and the fact was..we were only an A team..bahahaha..If you guys play AAA hockey you should know who littleton is..they are bad ass...have Patrick Roy's sons and Ray Bourques...they are pretty damn good.

I'm not saying MN hockey is better than MA, but I know for a fact that MA is NOT better than MN.

Shattuck St. Mary's overrated? 62-7 all against Nationally Recognized teams. Have you watched these guys? They play a whole different style of hockey, the only public school that has kept up with them is AHA (Academy of Holy Angels). Come on, research their dynasty, look at their roster, FAR from overrated.

Now back to Holy Angels, some may think they are overrated, but did they not come to your territory this year and beat both Boston Catholic Memorial MA and Woonsocket Mount St. Charles Academy RI? AHA is 20-2, losses only to Centennial (03-04 State Champs) and Shattuck (4-3 OT), Their top 15 players this year are all underclassmen aside from Jared Hummel a solid defensemen.
They have a good chance at winning the cake this year, next year (even better), a LONG time from now but possibly even in '07.

Holy Angels is not overrated, and yes I would know considering I live here. If anyone is overrated it would be Moorehead, only because their fans hype them up to be the best prep team ever assembled.

I do have to agree. Last year I played Bantam AA for a Michigan team in the upper pennisula, and we played Shattuck St. Marys and they beat us 5-0 in a Marquette, Mi. tournament.. They we're damn good. I play Midget A this year, and we saw them in a tournament this year in GreenBay, Wis. and they killed the other team, we didn't get to play them because we lost to Petit, Wi. by 1 goal... We would have played them in the championship too.. Hmmm.. But yeah I'm joining up on a Midget A/AA (a different one) for the end of the season to go to a Petit, WI. tournament, I wouldn't be surprised if they were there...
