GameBattles is looking for you! We are looking for mature, outgoing, and
responsible individuals to volunteer their time to help better the community. In
working side by side with present and future staff, you will gain some great
work experience that will greatly benefit you with your future job
responsibilities and endeavors.
Does this sound like you? Have you wondered what it would be like to help the
people you play with on a daily basis? Being able to assist them with the same
issues you deal with every day is a great feeling. I would encourage everyone
reading this to ask some present staff members about the pros and cons, the
overall experience, and if their perspective changed once they joined the ranks
of staff.
The application system supports three entry level positions for volunteers on
GameBattles. Combined with the title is the job description outlining the duties
and responsibilities for each position. Keep in mind that the job descriptions
are broad. If you have further questions about a position, feel free to contact
a staff member in that role for more information.
The job descriptions for the aforementioned positions are, but are not limited
to:
Moderators –
Age requirement: 15
Moderating and watching the forums to ensure a positive and productive
community environment
To enforce the forum rules and policies.
Positive and lively community interaction is a MUST for this position.
Admin –
Age requirement: 16
Main focus: To process and close all support tickets that are submitted into
their arenas.
To resolve match disputes, score disputes and researching accusations of
cheating by teams that are playing on the ladders.
The deletion and banning of any team that breaks GameBattles policies and
rules as set down by GameBattles’ management.
Reviewing any and all issues that arise from match play on their ladders.
Referee –
Age requirement: 14
The referee is the backbone of most arenas on GameBattles. They are
responsible for resolving in game disputes as well as answering questions
and concerns via AIM or the Live Support system.
Properly documenting any and all situations in which they are a part of
ensuring quality assurance for GameBattles users.
Before you decide whether or not you are going to apply, please review all
above mentioned positions. When you choose the best fit for you, remember to
choose an arena to apply for that you are most passionate about and where you
will enjoy being staff. One you have submitted an application, your submission
will be processed by the GameBattles Human Resources department. Remember, all
of the information submitted in the application is entirely private, so be
honest and truthful with the information. Also, put time and effort into your
application.
